Since Dodge Ram ran the Farmer Commercial during the Super Bowl, there have been many renditions. It took along time for them to finally get to my profession, but they finally made it. Check it out, God Made a DJ, thanks to Sound Cloud.
This is big news.. North Valley Legend Moriss Taylor has retired from doing radio. For those of you who aren’t aware, Moriss Taylor had been a mainstay on local radio, & TV, not to mention the hundreds of live shows he did with his band up and down Northern California, for over 50 years. Moriss wrote literally hundreds of songs and, unlike a lot of performers, stayed true to what he liked and what he believed a good country song should be. He has also been one of the hardest working men you’ll ever meet in the business. If Moriss was supposed to show up, you could count on him being there, and staying longer and working harder than everybody else.
He served his country with honor and was a very dedicated family man. Where a lot of country singers who start making a name for themselves locally will immediately hit the road for weeks and months on end trying to expand their fame, Moriss chose to stay local, where he could always stay with-in a short days drive of his family and Chico.
And finally, Moriss Taylor is probably as nice and modest a guy as you’ll ever meet. In fact, he’s probably a little embarrassed about the fact that we’re making a big deal about him right now on the Blaze. Well Moriss, you are and have been a big deal around here for over 50 years and we wish you a fun and happy retirement.
Thanks for all the great fun, entertainment, corny jokes and musical memories.

Another edition of Spring Break with Luke Bryan.
I like The Band Perry, but this makes them even cooler. I love this song!
So, one of the things on my bucket list are to go see a country show at this venue. It's Red Rocks in Colorado. Anybody ever been there. Is it really cool? Seems like it would be. Here's a Zac Brown performance from recently.
I guess it might be true, it does depend on how you approach life.
